Up to 500,000 Yuan in Prize Money Fifth Strait Cup Fujian (Jinjiang) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Launched

The fifth Strait Cup Fujian (Jinjiang) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was officially launched recently. The event is open to entrepreneurs globally to recruit outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship projects.

The four-month-long competition consists of 7 trials, focusing on the innovation and entrepreneurship projects in three key industries, namely, new infrastructures, materials and health. The final winners have the chance to get a prize of up to 500,000 yuan.

Four on-site trials and three video trials will be held in Jinjiang, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Hefei, while the finals, awards ceremony and summit forums are scheduled for late December.

This competition offers a total amount of 3 million yuan in prize money for outstanding projects. In each of the three key categories there will be first prize, second prize, third prize and winner's prize, with one winner at each level. The first-prize projects will get the chance to win as much as 500,000 yuan. Besides, the award-winning enterprises or teams, as well as those that are forward-looking and promising, will enjoy a package of supports by Jinjiang city in such aspects as policy, capital, credit granting, achievement docking and transformation.

The Strait Cup has been held for four consecutive years. Last time, the event recruited a total of 1,112 projects from 10 zones at home and abroad. Among them, the number of doctoral teams accounted for about 32%, and more than half of the projects focused on new materials and intelligent manufacturing industry. 10-plus projects have forged effective cooperation with Jinjiang local enterprises, including Susino Umbrella, Shua Sports and SinceTech.

  最高可获50万元奖金 第五届“海峡杯”福建（晋江）创新创业大赛启动

　　近日，第五届“海峡杯”福建（晋江）创新创业大赛正式启动，大赛向全球创业者发出邀请函，征集创新创业优秀项目。

　　本届大赛共设置7场选拔赛，将历时4个月，在全球范围内重点征集新基建、新材料和大健康三大重点行业的创新创业项目。总决赛获奖项目有机会获得最高50万元的赛事奖金。

　　此外，大赛将在晋江、深圳、南京和合肥设置4场现场选拔赛和3场视频选拔赛，并于12月下旬进行总决赛，届时将同期举行大赛颁奖仪式及产业高峰论坛。

　　本届大赛为优秀项目设置了总金额达300万元的奖金。据介绍，大赛三大重点行业将分设一等奖、二等奖、三等奖、优胜奖，每个等次各1名，一等奖项目有机会获得最高50万元的奖金。此外，落地的获奖企业或团队，以及具有前瞻性、发展前景较好的企业或团队，还将优先享受晋江市提供的政策扶持、资本对接、银行授信、成果对接、落地转化等“一揽子”系列配套服务。

　　“海峡杯”双创赛已经连续举办四年。上一届大赛，共有国内外10个赛区的1112个项目参赛；参赛项目中博士团队数量占比超32%，并有超过50%的项目聚焦新材料和智能制造行业，十多个项目与梅花伞、舒华体育、信泰科技等晋江本地企业高效对接。
