Hengan first-half net profit rises 20.3%
On August 19, Hengan International Group Company Limited (01044.HK) released its interim report. According to the report, the company’s revenue reached 10.928bn yuan by June 30, a 1.4% year-on-year increase. Profit attributable to shareholders rose to 2.26bn yuan, an increase of 20.3% from a year earlier. The board of directors has announced an interim dividend of 1.2 yuan per share.
The report shows the sources of the company’s profit in the first half of the year. Increasing almost 5% (a bit higher than the average of the market) to 3.223bn yuan, the turnover of sanitary napkin product made up 29.5% of the company’s revenue. The turnover of tissue paper products was around 5.349bn yuan, representing 48.9% of the company’s revenue. The turnover of diaper product was about 722m yuan, taking up about 6.6% of the group's overall revenue. With a turnover of 193m yuan, including 131m from SUNWAY KORDIS (SHANGHAI)LTD, the sale of household articles accounted for 1.8% of the total operating income. E-commerce turnover (including Alibaba LST and JD Xintonglu) exceeded 2bn yuan, amounted to 18% of the company’s total turnover.
Hengan International stated that the company’s development, especially the 20.3% increase of net profit in the first half of 2020 despite the epidemic, would be impossible without its high quality products and the flexibility and responsiveness of its project teams.
恒安上半年净利润增长20.3%
19日,恒安国际(股票代码:01044.HK)发布半年报,截至2020年6月30日止,恒安国际营业收入达109.28亿元(人民币,下同),较去年同期微升1.4%,公司权益持有人应占利润同比增长20.3%至22.60亿元。董事会宣布派发中期股息每股1.2元。
公告显示,恒安国际上半年的利润构成,其中,卫生巾业务销售增长略优于市场平均水平,增长接近约5%至32.23亿元,占集团收入上升至约29.5%;纸巾业务销售约为53.49亿元,占集团收入约48.9%;纸尿裤业务收入约7.22亿元,占集团整体收入约6.6%;家居用品业务收入约1.93亿元,当中包括声科集团收入约1.31亿元,占集团经营业务收入约1.8%;电商渠道营业额(包括零售通及新通路)超过20.0亿元,占集团整体销售的比例约18.0%。
恒安国际在公告中表示,2020年上半年,恒安集团能逆势增长,尤其是净利润增长高达20.3%,离不开集团在市场上的品牌质量保证及各个平台化小团队的灵活应变能力。
